distinctive beliefs and
ministry philosophies of Bethany Baptist Church.
Bethany Baptist is a small body of believers, in the
North Hills of Pittsburgh, committed to the sufficiency of Scripture and the supremacy of Christ. We believe that the local church is the only institution on earth ordained by God to carry out His redemptive purposes for humanity.
When fulfilling its mission, the church is an unstoppable force bringing to fruition the salvific purposes of God and the advancement of His kingdom. Jesus declared in Matthew 16:18 - "I will build My church and the gates of
hades will not overcome it." The church's ultimate success is totally reliant upon the power of Christ.
